Hurricane Earl

Atlantic hurricane season is here. Now is the time to make sure that you and your family are ready.

As officials track the path of Hurricane Earl, now is the time to take the necessary steps to protect you and your family.

"The best way to keep our families safe is to be prepared," said Ramona Jennex, Minister of Emergency Management.

There are three important things to do now:

  1. Put together an emergency kit
  2. Make a plan and discuss it with your family
  3. Listen for updated weather information as Earl draws closer
  4. Watch out for public safety information and instructions from EMO

The EMO media line has been deactivated. Media inquiries can be directed to EMO communications staff.
